"Algorithm Cafe is an absolute gem in Marrickville. The coffee here is truly exceptional — it has its own distinct character that sets it apart from your typical specialty cafe. The food is equally impressive; everything we tried was delicious and well-crafted. The place was buzzing with customers, so expect a bit of a wait — but trust me, it's completely worth it. You can tell why it's so popular. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Will definitely be back!"

"Solid spot for brunch - always open on public holidays, one of the few spots in Marrickville. Coffee is always good, bit on the weaker side for my liking but it’s done well. Food is solid, however the price does sting you a bit when you factor in the surcharges. Not many spots to sit in doors, so you end up sitting outside on stools and the road slopes down a bit to the corner. Overall good experience."

"Everything is absolutely great! People care about you, and your opinion. Today I had the truffle cream pasta and the pandan croissant. Truffle pasta overall is great. The texture and taste all very very good. One thing I would like them to reconsider is the pork crackling, the taste doesnt harmonise with the pasta. I think they should revisit this. Definitely should come."

"The food, especially the special menu, was incredibly delicious! The signature coffee was great too, but I actually liked the matcha even more. The taste and service were both excellent. However, there were quite a few flies and bugs near the window seats, which was a bit disappointing. Everything else was perfect though!"

We ordered the Rhythm Coffee, Jasmine Matcha Cloud, Matchapresso, and a hot chocolate with oat milk — and every single drink exceeded our expectations. What really stood out were the signature cream toppings on the cold drinks: silky, rich, and incredibly addictive without being overly sweet. They elevated each drink and made them feel genuinely unique. The balance of flavours was spot on, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every cup. Easily one of the most memorable café drink experiences we've had in Sydney. Will definitely be back."

"My family had recently discovered Algorithm, after wanting to visit for ages and not getting time to, and needless to say it exceeded all our expectations. The staff are all so very friendly and welcoming, especially in making my little one feel comfortable. The coffee is CONSISTENTLY one of the best. We happily come out of our way to grab a quick coffee and cookie. I highly recommend you try their cold brew and monte Blanc"

"Had the Iced Raspberry Earl Grey with their signature cream — really refreshing and nicely balanced. I personally feel like a bit of orange zest on top would elevate it even more. The Algorithm Iced Coffee was surprisingly rich with a strong coffee flavour, didn’t expect that. Drinks came out quickly and staff were friendly. It’s always busy, but I guess that’s a good sign. Hopefully next time I get to sit down and try their breakfast."
